Perustutkinto-opiskelija, hae apurahaa! / Degree Student, Apply for a Scholarship!
Yliopistoseura julistaa haettaviksi apurahoja Valto Takalan sekä Hilja ja Toivo Piintilän rahastoista 3.11.–30.11.2026 välisenä aikana. Apurahoja myönnetään opintojensa loppuvaiheessa oleville Turun yliopiston perustutkinto-opiskelijoille. Myöntöperuste on opintomenestys sekä lopputyön kuvaus. Apurahoja jakamisessa huomioidaan myös yliopiston monialaisuus.
Apurahoja voi hakea perustutkinnon loppuvaiheen opintoja varten. Ensisijaisesti niitä tulee hakea sellaisiin tarkoituksiin, jotka edistävät ylemmän korkeakoulun lopputyön valmistumista. Apurahaa voi saada matkakuluihin, tutkimuksesta koituviin kuluihin (esim. digitointi, arkisto- ja kenttätyö) tai yleisiin elämiskustannuksiin kuten vuokran maksuun. Hakijan tulee hakemusta jättäessään olla Turun yliopiston perustutkinto-opiskelija.
Jaettava apurahasumma on vähintään 25 000 euroa. Yksittäisen apurahan suuruus on 1 000 euroa. Päätökset apurahojen saajista tehdään maaliskuuhun 2027 mennessä, jolloin myönnetyistä apurahoista ilmoitetaan saajalle sähköpostitse.

Apurahan saaneille hakijoille on ilmoitettu asiasta sähköpostitse 31.3.2027. Suuren hakemusmäärän vuoksi emme valitettavasti voi ilmoittaa kielteisestä päätöksestä hakijoille henkilökohtaisesti.
Degree Student, apply for a scolarship!
The Turku Finnish University Society invites scholarship applications from degree students at the University of Turku who are at the final stages of their studies. The scholarships will be awarded from the Valto Takala Foundation. The application period is from 3 to 30 November 2026. Applications will be evaluated on the basis of the applicant´s study success and the description of the Master´s Thesis. The multidisciplinarity of the University of Turku will also be observed when ranking the applications.
The scholarships are to be awarded to degree students at the University of Turku, and are intended for purposes that enhance the completion of the applicant´s Master’s Thesis. Thus, you may apply for overall living expenses (such as cost of rent), travel expenses or research expenses (e.g. digitisation, archival research and fieldwork). At the time of submitting the application, the applicant must be a degree student at the University of Turku.
Each individual scholarship to be awarded amounts to 1 000 euros. The total sum open for scholarships within this application round is 25 000 euros. The decision on the awarded scholarships will be made by March 2027 whereafter a list of successful applicants will be announced via email.
The online application form will close on 30 November 2026 at 23:59 (11:59 p.m.).
Successful applicants will be notified by email in March 2027. Due to the high number of applications, we regret that we are unable to notify unsuccessful applicants individually.
